Nancy - I don't think I've been assigned a mentee yet. I heard 2/27 was the day one would be assigned. Is that still the case?

"We can only buy if it's in the budget" OR "It's in the budget so we'll definitely purchase during this budget year."

Two sides of the same coin, but the official budget and every buying decision isn't always aligned 100%

"Don't chase projects that aren't real" More often than not there is never a "real" project going on, I have been required to make it real. I completely agree with Andrew on budget.. I have found when someone wants something they can find the money.

Hey from the UK!

Hey guys, happy to be here.

I've been in sales for 8 years, since the age of 19, and have been working with cross functional UX, marketing, and product teams for the past 3 to help them identify inefficiencies, lost revenue, and potential opps in their digital experiences.

With 2020 being all about self development, I would love to connect with mentors and share ideas. It'd be great to connect with people working in UX & digital marketing with the purpose of learning more about their business processes.

IMO the key is really finding any ways to make it a warmer call.  This is why direct sends, when done right, can be incredible.  Best warm intro you'll ever get from a cold call and find something that will stay on their desk.  One that works great is a piggy bank for loose change.

I'm not a big fan of 'following up with an email' as the first touch...

For me it is setting time to sit and make the calls. I love email, and am pretty active on LinkedIn, but find it tough to get motivated to block out time and call people. I know it is making an impression and that leaving a voicemail can be key, but being new to sales it is pretty nerve wracking even though I rarely get an answer.

Flip the Script North American Tour!

Hi Together!!

With more SDRs and AEs struggling to hit quota than ever before, I created a series called “Flip the Script” to drive tactical value and expertise through free educational webinars, articles and sessions with one goal in mind: to lower the staggering percentage of SDRs and AEs that are struggling to hit quota in the industry, and equip them with the phone and email training necessary to achieve goals.

I've taken it off the screen on onto stages of 9 cities across joined by Scott Barker and Josh Braun in a tour across the US in:

Each city will begin with ...
