Cold outreach in healthcare?  

I recently transitioned into the healthcare industry. Calling on Surgeons and Healthcare Executives. I am finding it very difficult to generate meetings via cold outreach compared to the HR industry I came from. Any tips or insight to share?

Very interesting to see what others have to say. My wife is a surgeon but is very young so doesn't get a lot of outreach. I've noticed in particular that docs don't seem to have a Linkedin presence in the same way their counterparts in the business world do, so that also seems to exacerbate being able to get in touch. More in general outreach.  I am an AE and work with our SDR team.  We are a small team so really we are all working to generate meetings.  So this is just a part of my job.  At this point we are having a hard time both getting them on the phone, responding to emails, and converting.
