An Introduction

Happy Friday everyone! Stoked to be a part of the Bravado community and to provide insight where I can as well as have an opportunity to learn from all of you!

My name is Logan Pardini and I’m currently based out of San Diego, California.

Like others on here, I did not expect to get into sales by any means. I was a shy and timid kid, and an introvert by nature. I found an opportunity out of high school that peaked my interest, and never looked back.

I decided to get my feet wet out of high school with Cutco cutlery. This enabled me to learn the full cycle process from generating initial interest to delivering an end product/service to the customer. I spent about 3 years doing this.

From there, I transitioned into business to business sales at GoSite. During my 3 years here (and counting) I have spent time as a Sales Development Representative, Enterprise/Business Development Representative, and SMB Account Executive. I now find myself working with a fellow colleague to build out a team of Account Managers with growing and expanding current client accounts.

Through these varying roles, I have learned how to adapt and overcome anything that comes my way.

My best advice to those getting things started:

  1. Always communicate what you want. I spent more time than I would’ve liked as an SDR because I didn’t make it clear what I wanted.
  2. Go above and beyond. A fast track to upward mobility is being able to master more than just the basic job responsibilities.
  3. Read. Especially in sales. There’s ABC for Always Be Closing, but also ABL for Always Be Learning.

I’m happy to answer any questions about my experience thus far! Would also love to connect with those that can relate to a journey similar to this.

Love the advice Logan, thanks for sharing! Definitely agree on #1. If your managers don't know what you want, how can they help you?
