I used to stress out about not getting things done.
I knew in my heart that I could be an organized, productive person, but I would really struggle to follow through on things that mattered to me.
I would have projects and goals that would really matter to me, but I would keep putting them off, keep avoiding actually doing the work, and stressing about it.
I felt like a failure.
You see, I was never a very disciplined person. A good memory helped me scrape by, but I was always dropping the ball on BIG things.
And then I had my aha moment.
Every single time I would fail to make progress on something that I KNEW mattered to me, it was because I hadn't broken it down into small actionable steps.
The project was too big. Too overwhelming.
I didn't know where to start. So I just didn't.
What's one thing you dream of doing, but you just don't?
Take the project and figure out the first one or two very simple small things you can do to get started.
Knock out some quick wins and then rinse and repeat.
In no time at all, you'll see the progress, build the momentum, and be on your way.
Try it and let me know.
