The best things that have ever happened to me have also been the most challenging
The most painful.
My divorce. My major chronic health diagnoses. My business failures.
No, I wouldn't wish them on anyone.
But each have spurred such progress, such growth, and such super-human strength.
And I wouldn't trade them for the world.
We are going through a wildly uncertain time.
Life is scary and challenging and hard in ways that NONE of us were prepared for.
But that means that we have this golden opportunity to grow.
To dig deep within ourselves and think hard about what we want when we come out on the other side of this.
Who do you want to be?
What kind of life do you want live?
What sort of impact do you want to create?
Now is the time to lay the foundation for whatever comes for next for you.
To invest in the future you.
Close your eyes and imagine that future you.
What sort of skills do you have? What kind of things have you created? Who do you count as your friends, colleagues, and allies?
When you know who you want to be, you can make your plan for transforming into that person.
Reading the books. Learning the lessons. Building the relationships.
It won't be easy.
But damn will it be beautiful.
