Hello World,

I'd like to introduce myself and welcome you all to the South Bay Sales Leaders group. My name is Diana Cappello, I am a Lead Sales Engineer at Clari and I enjoy Tahoe and baking with my family. I help facilitate this group so that people like me, sales leaders who want to network and live in the south bay, don't have to make the hike to SF and sacrifice down-time to get in touch with their tribe. Looking forward to getting to know each of you better.

Please ask questions, spread the wealth of knowledge, promote upcoming events (in person or web) and cheer each other on!

Here is why I chose these two words. Embrace in this context means to accept and support. I accept I am in the minority and I will give support to and seek support from others. Second, discomfort is a constant in this line of work. For me, it is when I feel uneasy, anxious, or embarrassed. This is to be HUMAN. We are all just people who seek acceptance and support. Every discomfort can be a catalyst for growth. And here ...

What you shared here is fantastic, Diana Lustenader Cappello! What stood out most to be were two themes that continuously show up in my life (I should take a hint).

1. No such thing as work-life balance. Something about hearing this from women who have done the dirty grind is empowering to hear. #45hours

2. Ruthlessly prioritize. What is the one th...

Hi everyone, I'm looking forward to networking with you all! I started selling software about 9 years ago, after crossing over from selling real estate.

My first sales development role started when I was in middle school. While most of my friends were doing chores to earn extra spending money, my mother had me following a script and scheduling sale...
