What is Empathy? - Doug Landis - #SecretToSales

Everyone is talking about empathy. “Now’s the time to be more empathetic…” Welp, I’m pretty sure empathy has always been imperative in sales.

Doug Landis gave me his fresh take on what it means to be empathetic at all times. He outlines the importance of empathy in the sales process and what that actually looks like in practice as a rep.

I was thinking I’d start asking to try on my prospects’ shoes in discovery calls.

“The problem that I find with a lot of people in sales, is they don’t spend the time to really get to know who you are and what makes you tick.” - Doug Landis

What does empathy in sales look like for you?
