It's okay to be "sold".
Whether a person walks into your store, fills out a form on your site for follow-up, chats with your team about your professional services like lawyers, doctors, contractors, homes and communities, or you reach out cold and get a positive response, it's okay to sell them.
Even grocery stores are selling you with displays, samples, deals.
As a professional salesperson it's okay to steer and direct your conversation to a sale of your product/service.
Don't be afraid that professional sales practices are not simply "helping" potential customers.
People don't like being pushed. The have no qualms about being sold.
