Why does everyone not do this the first time they hire for a new role?
I had a CEO ask me for some profiles of people who'd be a good fit for a role he's struggling to hire - regardless of if they're looking or not.
He wanted to see what I'm looking for and what those profiles had in common.
WHY DOES EVERYONE NOT DO THIS THE FIRST TIME THEY HIRE FOR A NEW ROLE?
This is my new favorite exercise to do with clients - especially as it allows me to show them a truly #diverse pool of options (#race, #gender, #socioeconomic, #educationlevel etc).
Imagine if every hiring manager asked a subject-matter expert to help them out with something like this? Sounds like a good way to kick of #DEI conversations!
