You need to be focused on the fundamentals.

It’s not a fundamental sales skill to “make calls” or “send emails”.

It’s not a fundamental sales skill to puke product knowledge in a pitch all over your prospect.

It’s not a fundamental sales skill to manipulate people into signing up.

It’s not a fundamental sales skill to tell little white lies because it doesn’t “hurt” anybody and the client will never know.

And right now, during this pandemic, you need to get back to basics.

You need to be focused on the fundamentals.

If you have forgotten how to dribble, how can you continue to be at the top of your game?

Here are some of those basics:

Communication

Listening

Empathy

Compassion

Work ethic

Acumen

Problem Solving

Aptitude

Mindfulness

Experiences

Servant Leadership

The bottom line being that sales is being able to connect with people.

It’s being able to impact the relationship you build.

It’s clearly showing that you’re not like the rest.

It’s articulating a sense of wonder.

It’s providing an experience over performing a pitch.

It’s understanding the goals and aspirations of your prospect.

Real, raw, human interaction.

You have to believe in what you're doing, as much as others have to believe in you.

It’s time for a Sales Rebellion to rise from the ashes of mediocrity.
