Ready to take the leap

Hello Bravado community,

How can you help me?

I am a multilingual marketing and business development professional with 10 years of international experience (the first four in Italy, the last six in Phoenix, AZ, where I am based now). I'm currently a senior account manager in a digital marketing agency. I've been working for the past 6 years in PR, marketing and business development--with the last 2 years highly focused on B2B inside sales, consultative selling, account management and upselling.

I am eager to make a career change and take the leap to transition to "pure" sales, preferably in the software tech or financial services industries. My plan is to leverage what I have learned so far, my genuine interest for people, my drive for results and my thirst for continuous learning.

My main reason for change is the desire to match my long hours and an "always-on" mentality with an adequate financial reward. I want to be paid for what I bring to the table.

Would Bravado be able to help me understand how to best channel my skills and past experience to make this move?

I am thrilled to join this is a community of like-minded people and I look forward to hearing your thoughts, feedback and advice.

Thank you,

Francesco

What do you mean by "pure" sales? How would that be different to what you do now?

Excellent pursuit. Start applying often online, update your resume and LinkedIn with highlights towards new business development, reach out to recruiters and state your desire. There is no shortage of opportunities, even now.
