Should you personalize after 1st email?

It's a lot easier to personalize the first email, then send out templates. Do you repeat the same content, or do you actually personalize each email?

I personalize every single email. I go through their LinkedIn profile and tease out three to four premises I would use. Then, I use that to fuel the rest of my sequence. When I talk to my client on the phone, I mention one of the things I said in the email. The first personalized outreach should fuel the rest of the emails. I never multi thread... See more

You mentioned that you tease out three to four premises that you would use. What do you mean by premises here? Can you give 2-3 examples?

The requirement to personalize each email grows directly proportional with the ACV.  A 5-6 figure ARR subscription deal could get 2X higher conversion rates compared to mass blast. But again, this is experience selling to IT.  Others mileage may vary :)

Every message should be personalized. I've so over getting 3, 4, 5 follow up emails that say "did you get my last email"... engage your brain and put a little effort into it.
