The Importance of Gratitude in Sales

One of the best strategies I've used throughout my sales career and now as an entrepreneur is practicing Gratitude at the end of every work day.


This helps ensure that all of the little good things that happen throughout the day don't get overpowered by one major event like a deal falling through or a few angry customers.


Gratitude unshackles us from toxic emotions, by strengthening the neural pathways in the brain which releases more dopamine and serotonin.


One Swiss study of nearly 1000 people found that people who expressed more gratitude had better physical and psychological health and were more likely to engage in healthy activities.


It’s your way to Combat Negativity bias that is rich within sales.


To help you get started I created a Sales Gratitude Journal you can fill out at the end of everyday. Gratitude is like a muscle and it takes time to strengthen so daily practice is the best way to do this.
