Yesterday was an exciting day and experiment. I announced that I could build 1 fully remote SDR team.
I can hire from anywhere! 8-10 reps and 1 Manager.
Something I've wanted to do for a really long time.
But here is where it gets interesting, and I was waiting to see.
First - I received over 55 (update 65) people reaching out interested in the SDR or SDR manager role.
THIS is why you build a brand as a leader. Access to people.
Second - Here is the breakdown of the type of outreach I got.
About 40 - I'm very interested/want to join/want to learn more.
About 15 - I'm interested and here is why I could be a good fit, and why I want it.
Only 7 people actually attached a resume.
Only 4 people found my email and emailed me directly.
Only 3 LI Voice Messages - Introducing themselves and explaining why want it/would be a fit.
Only 3 Video Messages
Who do you think is getting priority in terms of getting interviewed first?
Who do you think has already displayed some of the characteristics I'd look for in a rep or manager.

Have some fun.
