You're still selling in the midst of a global pandemic, nobody ever trained you for this.

If your numbers are up, stay humble. If your numbers are down, remain steadfast.

If you’re a leader and your team is still not at quota, continue to innovate.

Pay attention to what’s going on.

Maybe they’re suffering through this more than you realize.

Be there for them.

One day they will a tell stories that start with; “I had this boss...” and your actions today...

Prospecting tips before the holiday?

Are you calling and leaving voicemails as bread crumbs for next week? What's your holiday CTA? Is email a dead-end with all the OOO messages?

I'd love to hear any process or methodology you use on the days before a holiday break... July always seems like the shortest month of the year, and I'm sure we all want to be set up for success once everyone is back.

I keep shooting emails to get as many OOOs as possible as this is an amazing tool to get phone numbers and referrals (please contact my colleague/boss XY while I am away)

If you see an opportunity, one you want, one you dream of, seize it.

Don’t question it or wonder why it’s there or ask if you should.

Because the longer you wait, the more likely someone is going to snatch it from you.

All too often, I see aggressively humble people - especially women - Act as though the opportunity should tap them on the shoulder and invite them.

But the world doesn’t work that way.

The opportunity that is o...

Specific challenges each person faces within your ICP

You’re a pro at your prospect's industry, though do you know the specific challenges each person faces within your ICP?

Put on your thinking cap!

Does an Entry Level employee face the same challenges as a Director? No!

That means your outreach needs to cater to their seniority, this isn’t a perfect science so mix in some art, I know you can pull it off.

#Live-Better-Sell-Better Stress, Mental Health, and Sales with Jeff Riseley of Sales Health Alliance

Why is "Mental Health" still so taboo?

Especially in sales?

Sales is incredibly stressful. It's unpredictable. You face rejection every day.

To be 'good' means you're failing 70% of the time.

The pressure is always there. We are rarely allowed/able to 'unplug'

Vacation time is often frowned upon or hard to justify taking.

You're every moved is measured, judged, sc...

The real issue is that you are unwilling to face the unknown and take risks.

Because it’s much easier to do what is simple, what you’ve been taught, and what’s been done before.

This is #Sales in a nutshell.

#B2B - B2C - B2C2B, any form of sales would rather take the easy road on a daily basis.

Why?

Because we are worried about doing something when we don’t know the outcome.

I have a student out in So-Cal who has become my friend.

Toughest part of your job

What is the toughest part of your job as a sales professional?

Mine, is walking the ever-so-slim line between the art of sales and the science based on KPI's and stats.

That's very tough. Thank you for what you do. I am sure many people appreciate a sympathetic ear. Do you have any particular techniques you use to cope with this and help clients?

How to get more money upfront?

Hi everyone!

After being an SDR for around year and a half, I decided to move to a small marketing agency, where I am responsible for the whole sales function.

Things aren't going bad but there is lot of stuff that I need to get better at. One of them is getting clients to really commit to work with us for the long term.

Have you got any advice for this?

Diversity adds 19% to your bottom line!

Stop dumbing down your sales walk

Calling on a list of people that you don’t know, at companies you haven’t done research on, at record speeds to get through your 200 dials today...

Is an outdated approach to sales outreach.

It’s the year 2020.

Welcome to the future!

February 2019....I am "playing the numbers" game and making 200-400 dials per week...shockingly with terrible results as I was trying to call in to top decision makers of Fortune 500 companies.  My odds would be better if I played the lottery.

March 2019 - I see Dale Dupree spitting truth on a Sales Hacker webinar.

April 2019 - Dale agrees to coach m...
