Pros
Work Life Balance, Comped company lunches, steak dinners and happy hours where work days were spent enjoying NYC perks without paying for it vs. actually working
Cons
There are too many cons to mention but here are some: Incompetent and delusional c-level: Take a look at the profiles of the management team and you will clearly see most of them (if not all!) do not have the experience to be leading a global company of this size. Not only are they incompetent, they blamed the sales team or outside factors for lack of growth when conducting mass layoffs ....when really, they should have taken a look in the mirror and realize the problem is them. Why are they still here? Everything controlled in Europe: Don’t bother with this company if you are based in the US - especially in a non-sales role. Your team is likely to be headed by people in Europe who know nothing about the US market and your opinions will fall on deaf ears. They claim the US is the most important market but if you do speak up, you will be considered an annoyance and you won’t get promoted. Don’t fall for their lies about career growth opportunities. Favoritism is rampant too, and European colleagues get promoted much more easily. Unprofessional conduct by management: Speaking of other employees’ performance....or pulling me aside to tell me others have been talking about me behind my back and that I should have a think about what they said. lol. Is this high school? Does manager training exist here?
