Pros
Good training, surrounded by smart people, great resume builder, great pay
Cons
The company completely lacks centralization and a stable direction for management. All of the processes are constantly changing and there is poor communication on how to figure it out/where to find things. The other LDRs are amazing and it can be really fun depending on your team, BUT the whole way the metrics are set up for LDRs is completely backwards and heavily setting us up to fail. We are required to create opportunities that are “accepted” by Account Managers to get credit and we’re also measured on the opportunity value. However, our AMs are penalized by their managers when they “close/lost” opps, so this creates a situation where AMs frequently sandbag the opportunities we give them because they’re scared of the deal not pulling through after they accept it from us. They also frequently decrease the opportunity value to keep their manager’s eyes off it, shorting us out of the credit we deserve for the opportunities. This is all made even worse by the fact that our quotas are extremely high - no one on my team hit.
