Pros
growth stage startup. Takes time to ramp to quota but once you're there, business is fairly consistent. Solid work life balance. Very little pressure to be in office. Few mandatory recurring meetings. Basically set your own hours
Cons
earlier stage company means less certainty. Plenty of room for improvement on the tooling/ops side although company is making major investments to fix. Sales side is shifting to more outbound-heavy motions but those are still relatively unproven. Comp model will likely shift in next 6 months which creates uncertainty
About the culture
Sales team are fun, not too aggressive. Company itself is very "nice guy". Tbh I'd like to see more pressure applied when teams/orgs don't meet expectations
Advice for New Reps
Learn the product & industry. The personas we sell to expect interactions to be value-add. Confirming technical fit is sometimes harder than getting the actual deal signed
