Pros
Company is big enough that you can hide in the numbers. You more than likely will not have a boss breathing down your neck to perform, like you would at most companies. Everyone is fairly laid back and chill. Most managers leave their team to their own devices and if you like autonomy, you'll like it here! Company also pays for your benefits which is nice. I pay $100/month for my wife and they have a basic 80/20 split, with pretty low copays. Insurance is above standard, but not the best I've ever had.
Cons
Won't make as much as you will elsewhere. If you don't get the money in the base, you won't make quota here. Not sure if anyone outside of senior sales reps (reps that have the biggest accounts) is hitting quota. Bar is set pretty high there. But no one expects you to hit it. Creates a weird dynamic within the company. Also, if someone doesn't make it in sales, they're transitioned to support. Which doesn't help your clients, having people that are subpar at their jobs, answering questions.
About the culture
Culture is okay. Sales conference was really fun and exciting but since that's been put on pause due to covid, culture is almost non existent. Again, great company to work for if you're looking to have a place to just do your thing. If you're looking for all the glitz and glamour and "feeling the love" please don't waste your time.
Advice for New Reps
If you're looking for a place that's hard to love and hate at the same time, feel free! You can get some good experience here, but if you're looking to max out OTE with commission, this ain't the place to do it. If you're looking for a place where you have plenty of time to make calls, walk the dog, spend time with your family, and maybe leave the office a little early on Friday, welcome to the team!
