Account Executive

Our client has built the next-generation platform for designing, generating, and sharing building systems. Our client's cloud platform uses automated building design and construction systems to ensure no building project starts from a blank page. Recently closing a successful Series A, our client's growth has been exponential, growing 2x in 2021 and 2.5x in 2022. Our client is looking for a passionate Account Executive to join their team of 17+ and help scale their business.

About this Role

As an Account Executive with our client, you will work with established and reputable sales leadership. Our client's sales leadership has over 10 years of Sales/AEC experience, and is committed to helping you grow and develop in your career. ‍

Key Responsibilities

• Represent our client's products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding of who they are, what they do, and how their solutions align to meet industry needs.
• Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets.
• Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps.
• Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook.
• Utilize SalesForce, cold calling, inbound leads, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and email to generate new sales opportunities
• Identify prospects within target accounts and engage to suggest appropriate products/services
• Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
• Identify potential accounts within the AEC ecosystem that could benefit.
• Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to identify product gaps/future opportunities for development.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or at least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Software sales experience, with a history of exceeding targets
• Some experience closing deals
• Strong communication skills via phone and email
• Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
• Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
• Proficiency with SalesForce or other CRM software

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience working in AEC
• Working knowledge of industry standard modeling tools (Revit, Rhino, AutoCad, Grasshopper, Dynamo)
• Prior experience as a sales development rep with a track record of achieving sales quotes
