10-15 Friday Happy Hour - exhaustion edition

Hey All!


Happy Friday. Another week in the books. Two deals that pushed out of Q4 for me just closed so off to a fast start this month/FY.


I hope everyone is off to a good start for their Q4.


We’ve had a dreary week in the Chicago area which sucks the life out a bit. Going to have to bring it back with a nice stout from Revolution Brewing. They released some barrel age stuff this week so I’ll be diving into some Deth’s Tar.

It was a good week for me, I think Q4 will be my strongest quarter this year. 

This week has felt long AF though, I'm happy it's the weekend.

Deciding between kombucha because I should be healthy today plus I have shit to do after work, or beer because...beer. I know what ya'll will suggest.

Solid week for me. Closed a deal that pushed me into Pres Club. The rest of Q4 is looking ok, not great.

As for the drink, my Oregon Ducks play tonight so I'm gonna need a full 12 pack of Silver Bullets just for myself. Still haven't figured out what I'll drink for the second half of the game yet though.

Drinking bitter tears after the end of last night's NLDS.  

Life goes on.   Season opener for hockey is this weekend, so I'm off to cheer on my own kid in a sport for a change.

I hope to totally unplug from work, because right now it pretty much owns me for 10 hours/day and I'm drained.

I met some lady for happy hour, and she began to layout her roadmap to “success” in dating her, which involved months of courting and no sex. She also used the phrase, “I like it when a guy sweats me.” I told her the only sweating I do is on a basketball court. I promptly closed out and pressed on. Dating blows.
