The current economic climate is challenging with a downturn and a high degree of uncertainty. Despite these difficulties, there are still companies that are hiring.
While some of these businesses operate in industries that are not as heavily affected by a looming recession, others may be experiencing a surge in demand for their products or services, which is allowing them to continue hiring.
We built a list of 100 such companies. The ones which know that a recession is not a permanent state. And in order to be prepared for the eventual upturn, they need to keep their talent bench strong.

Job seekers looking for employment in sales roles can increase their chances of finding a suitable job by standing out from the crowd. Here are 4 ways to do it:
- One way is to focus on specific niches by gaining industry knowledge. Experts are highly valued by employers. If you can demonstrate to the company that you can add value even during tough economic times, that’s awesome!
- Another way is to demonstrate a solid understanding of how sales are impacted by an economic downturn, & to adjust your approach accordingly. Be more creative in identifying new potential customers, or more aggressive in following up on leads. You should be able to show that you can adjust your strategy and make sales even during tough times.
- It's also important to be flexible and open to different types of roles or opportunities. Companies want to do more with less, and you’d ideally want to be that person who they can count on in these times.
Part 2 of 4 of the list coming soon.
Stay tuned…
