11-19 Friday Happy Hour Thread - road trip edition

Hey All!


Had a bit of a wild week. Had to bail out of Chicago and drive 8+ hours for a funeral, received a DocuSign at the funeral for around 500k TCV and then drove 13 hours to my Thanksgiving destination (driving because of Covid concerns with 2 unvaccinated kids). Needless to say, these Friday beers are coming fast. I’m looking at some of New England’s finest IPAs and starting with Lawsons Sip of Sunshine. Can’t go wrong there. I’ll transition into the heavy stouts later as the temps drop.

Got two of my remaining FY orders in this week, and only officially need to chase down two more that are in redlines.  So of course, I'm looking to see if I can pull in another 1 or 2 from Q1 and take advantage of accelerators.   

It already feels like a holiday:  Working two days in the office next week, then headed out for Thanksgiving and an ice hockey tournament for my son on Wednesday as early as we can escape to avoid traffic (hollow laugh, there's no avoiding Wednesday traffic).   Looking forward to a nice weekend and kicking back tonight for sure.   Cheers!

@1nbatopshotfan nicely done with the lawsons sip of sunshine, are you hitting up some of the alchemists brews as well?  Also if you can find Long Trail Triple Bag those are nice stouts.  

I am probably going to be drinking some more High West Rye whiskey again tonight, battling this stupid head cold (not covid) and whiskey seems to be the best choice right now and may even make a hotty toddy.

Honestly, my wife went to the beer store on my behalf while I worked and just asked for “good and local”.
