This deal took about 8 months to close. The VP of Operations took our proposal and was stuck in budgeting hell. Covid had decimated his teams purchasing power. He was able to shake some budget loose in July and sign up. He was also a champion with their legal and more or less took our contract with no modifications which is beyond rare. Finding the right champion here sealed this one.
We were able to solve a problem for his team in a secure manner, at what he thought was a reasonable cost. There’s big upsell potential here, because he has the ear of their CIO about this product and the viability for a company wide implementation.
