As you may know, I've been bitching in the past several months about my job.
I finally quit and have a dope set up now:
1. I got an independent contractor sales role with a small marketing agency. Their team throws meetings on my calendar and I close them. I can literally set my own hours to whenever I want, and take as many meetings as they give me. This is a full-ish time hours role. The last guy doing this did pretty well, and after reviewing his call recordings, I know I can easily at least match what he did.
2. And now I also have the free time to build out my side gig. I'm actually a certified hypnotherapist, and I've been wanting to set up a practice forever. So I'm finally able to do that now.
Ultimately, the goal is for me to get 75% of my money through the sales gig, and 75% of my fulfillment through the hypnotherapy gig. Not planning on charging exorbitant prices because I actually wanna help people.
For the first time in a long time I'm actually happy with where I'm at in my career.
Not in SaaS, and I don't have a W2, but I'm fucking thrilled.
