Academy subject request - So you're selling to X - departmental guides

Hey WR,

I'm ramping up in a new role and am still ironing out the kinks in understanding the landscape I sell and, more importantly, prospect into.

It'll come with time, but patience is a virtue that sales people don't get to have very often.

So, what if we had some recurring threads or topics around selling to X department to better understand what's really going on in my prospects head from experienced savages in that area.

Would you find that valuable?

I think you have a good starting point with the AMAs that were done recently. Those are two vary different roles and ICP's that you can glean something from.ย

I think its a good call though that would benefit a lot of the younger salespeople on this list.ย

Thoughts on the Agoge Sequence for prospecting? Apparently provides 2x response rates for cold outreach...

For all you mail mergers out there, do you see more success emailing one DM or all DMs on a custom thread? I've noticed that putting all relevant DMs on one campaign that is 100% customized to their business has a much higher response rate (28% meeting sucess)

Using the prospects first name in the subject line helps with more open rate?
