Admittedly, im not the sharpest tool in the shed

Feeling sentimental tonight, but wanted to just share that if you’re not crushing it or feeling down about yourself for not being the most extroverted sales person etc, stop. Take a breath. You don’t have to be perfect. You don’t even have to be particularly polished.

I drop drinks, flub names, go blank on cold calls. You name it, I’ve fucked it up. Hell, dementia runs in my family and i think I might even have early signs of it (not even a bit)

The only thing that matters in this business is organization and a passion for your product and customers and having that perspective of how you are making people feel. That’s it.

The most talented salespeople I know and have had the pleasure to learn from blow deals all the time.

The most clumsy and awkward dudes that are genuine can crush it because they grind away on the phones while talent fucks off

Passion is contagious, as long as you’re knowledgeable and CARE about the pain you’re solving you’ll win in the long run. Love it.

As a sales professional, all fucked up sometime in their career, I do it often too. But the best part is we learn from it and try to inch ourselves closer to what prospects want. It's all about them and how our product can help them achieve their goals.

Might not be the sharpest tool in the shed but you may be the brightest spark that’s needed.
