Advice for getting out of CPG/bev and into tech?

Currently an account manager in big CPG company specializing in beverage. I manage a big portion of business and important relationships but we do not measure success in $ quota - rather volume, distribution, etc. metrics. I am ready to learn something new and looking to get into a more technical role so seeking SaaS opportunities. Having a hard time getting recruiters time of day because my experience doesn't translate perfectly to tech terms. I still have a great analytic understanding, big name retailer relationships, and strong soft skills. Advice for making this transition? Thanks!

Use your translatable skills to hunt down ur own interview, chase the prospect, (hiring manager) sell yourself (product). Impress your way into that shit.

Helped 2 ppl in this forum do it already. Ask @serialbiller and read @funcoupon 's guide as well

Recruiters won’t give the the time of day unless you’re the round peg to go into their round hole.

That said, there’s a couple things you can do - reach out to SaaS companies hiring and focus on your prior results. Highlight the soft selling skills you have mastered. Send the HM a resume directly.

You can also highlight your experience using SaaS products and put that in your resume to the ATS software picks that up. Did you use Salesforce or Oracle or SAP? Some other SaaS product? Mention it in your resume as often as possible.
