Advice for selling into Sales

I’m having difficulty getting any sort of response from sales leadership when I prospect. I do I have a pretty simple approach and it always includes cold calling. Honestly, it’s funny because i thought Sales leadership would be more responsive but apparently not. In order to protect the sanctity of the forum I won’t discuss who I work for or what I’m selling but would love some out of the box prospecting ideas that would resonate with you or your sales leader / sales ops leader.

The best advice I can give you is literally ask your boss what they complain about, and you'll start understanding more what annoys them. Also, have your game face on, most of them will hear you because they know the grind, but be relevant as much as possible.

like every other prospect. Find their pains and challenges and also the impact on the business and their personal impact. Solve those and you´re golden.

I find other sales professionals to be VERY responsive when approached correctly.  Check your processes.  If you are good, other pros will respect it and respond even when there may be no need.  Remember, it may/will take more than one attempt.  Persistence pays off.

I believe it came down to patience and connecting dots (who we’ve had convos with in the past and why it should matter to them). Keep consistent! It pays off.
