Advice for setting healthy work boundaries?

Hey all,

Recently moved to a new state for a job so naturally the first people I spent the most of my time with were my co-workers. Then March of 2020 happened... So my co-workers became like my only friends. Now that I am able to be around people more I want to meet new people and set boundaries with my work friends to the point where they are more co-workers than friends. Any advice?

I mean...not to be weird, but, making new friends in a new place as an adult is wicked hard. That's why lots of us end up being friends with our co-workers. We spend a lot of time together, know a lot about each other, and often end up having lots in common. I am still friends with lots of former coworkers that have become closer than my college friends who live an hour away.

Yup. Some of my closest friends now are current/former co-workers
