AE to Senior AE?

Hey all,

I am trying to get some insight how to ask for more money/title change going into the New Year.

I am on pace to hit my yearly goal and we just raised a bunch of capital so I can see the writing on the wall that my quota is going to go up another 100k.

My current base is 50k and OTE is 100k with a quota of 400k.

What do you think is a reasonable amount to ask for with 500k quota in hyper niche market? ( I am thinking 62.5k base and 125 OTE keeping the same multiplier we currently use)

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Like @Diablo says its going to depend a ton on your business etc but I will say, ask for more than you think you want. 1) youll never get what you dont ask for and 2) even if you dont think you can hit the OTE its a hell of a motivator and my money is on you that youll hit it.

It's very difficult to answer your questions, depends upon your location, company, how much other companies in the vicinity paying vs targets etc.

Do you have any senior AE right now it you wnat them to create this for you?

That’s a pretty small quota, likely not sustainable at 25% payout. I just talked with a company that offers 70 / 75 / 20 for 165 OTE @ 1.2M. That’s just shy of 14%. Their OTE isn’t much more than what my base has been, so I won’t be taking that.
