AE with no experience in SAAS?

I just got offered a great opportunity to work for a start up, recently had its series B funding.

I'll be an AE with 80k base x2 OTE but it's for a SaaS product which I have 0 experience with and I would be selling to dealerships (all sizes) in a brand new territory.

Do you have any tips to prepare for this role? Should I even be doing it ? (7+ years of sales experience outside of saas) I'm mostly worried about the Demo aspect of things and my clients being Dealerships...

Yeap and they hid a huge deal breaker both on the jobs description and interview (having to travel internationally once a month for 5 days) is a no no when I'm looking to change career for a better work life balance lolย

By shadowing I don't know if the other folks mean literal shadowing, but I found it challenging for scheduling to sit in on as many demo calls with other AEs as I wanted when I was first starting. But if your company has video recordings accessible (Gong or zoom or whatever) just watch a couple videos every day from different people and learn what you like and how you want to say certain things
