AEs: What gifts do you reward your SDR?

What small tokens of appreciation do you send your SDR as thanks for their help EoQ?

Anything creative besides gifts cards?

An AE once gifted me movie tickets when I was an SDR. I felt appreciated and was never expecting it. I would like to pay it forward and do the same <3

What do you gift your SDR?

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
Historically, I worked my ass off to get my BDRs promoted and would buy them drinks when I was in town. They appreciated the former more than the latter.

My SDR was responsible for 14% of my new business and 30% of my appointments. While these aren't particularly high - I'd have to work insane hours to meet the same numbers without her help. SDRs deserve more credit.

Nothing at all. They do help he with mentorship and how to get promoted faster, so that's a good thing to have for me. Although a thank you note with a gift card would be cool.ย

I give them cash every now and then if I canโ€™t think of something meaningful (or appropriate for the amount of work done) to give them. One SDR was OBSESSED with Harry Potter so one quarter he did alright, got him a Harry funkopop. One quarter he knocked it out of the park for me so I gave him tickets to the Harry Potter Broadway play. Iโ€™ve moved on to VP of Sales to a competitor, heโ€™s now a sales manager for the same company.

I think itโ€™s great how he stayed there. That company had no plans to move me up in the near future (person in that role is only 33 Iโ€™m 30) so I took the offer to move up elsewhere. Iโ€™ve been on the short end of the AE stick before and I was unmotivated because I felt unnoticed. Iโ€™m happy this dude still treats his team well and motivates them with fun and meaningful experiences.

Have bought them booze, given gift cards, and cash...only for actual prospected leads/opps...resent having to even shout you out when it's an inbound lead and you want credit for the deal.
