Would love to hear more stories from fellow savages about times they encountered dickhead prospects who tried to attack their careers due to cold outreach and had management/ co-workers/ friends/ etc stick up for them. Shoutout Sahil, Corporate Bro, and any of the other savages in here who have stuck up for their fellow salespeople when a prospect would rather publicly shame a salesperson rather than unsubscribe/ just say no.

It's crazy that this is now becoming a thing...really in the last year. I don't remember people publicly shaming on LinkedIn like that before and I'm sure it has a lot to do with people changing LinkedIn into a public soap box more than a professional community, designed to advance thought leadership, technology and the public sector.

It's probably one of the very reasons that the War Room was started. Tired of the BS.

It wasn't external or posted anywhere, but I got a really nasty email response from a guy who I recently had called.

My boss said he'd personally contact the prospect's boss around their behavior if anyone ever went further than what that guy said. (TL:DR "you called me with stolen data* and I'll never do business with your fucking company")

*I stole nothing and if you have a phone number chances are it'll be found online from myriad sources.
