AITA? Monitoring inbound lead round robin

We do a ton of outbound reach out and oftentimes have different people come inbound from companies we’ve outbound prospected.

Our rules of engagement say that you own the company you’re prospecting into but oftentimes people get pissed they have to reassign meetings.

Is it worth hounding people to reassign meetings I’m entitled to?

For context, we usually get a meeting booked per day per rep from inbound and then a couple meetings per week booked from prospecting.

This is such a classic sales dilemma. I don't think you're the asshole by following the rules. I would stay on top of it. But you better be ready for people to do the same

Defend yourself and your resources. You’re at work to make money and provide for your family. While it’s good to get along with coworkers, you aren’t at work to make friends.
