Naw, he was never fired. Lowโs been head coach since like โ06. Hansi Flick was his assistant for awhile, including their WC win in 2014. But Germanyโs been pretty bad since 2017 and many people critique Lowโs stubbornness and have been calling for his sacking for awhile. Writing was on the wall and he said that he was stepping down after this tournament. Flick, who turned Bayern around in 19-20 and led them to that wild sextuple run, is going to be under a lot of pressure as heโs quite hyped up right now and people are expecting big things.ย

Italy has been the most fun team so I want them to keep winning or an absolute dark horse such as Ukraine to win it all.
