You're well overdue for a Q4 deal dump from your boy, here. Expect that to be coming soon when I find the time to do it.
I've got a professional update to share, though! After spending 100+ nights in hotels in 2024, I'm taking a step back from Field Sales and taking a step forward into a fully remote AE role with the same employer.
Kind of a double win here:
- This is ultimately where I wanted to go with my career, and allows me to focus solely on closing deals instead of riding the hybrid line of sourcing + closing
- The health of my relationships with my wife & kids is already vastly improving (although I am waiting for the day they get sick of me being around all the time)
Any tips as I venture into my first pure closing role?
