Anxiety in sales - what do y'all do?

I feel like the "LinkedIn" take is meditation and going for walks, but wondering what everyone here does, especially in a start-up environment where processes aren't fully defined.

Help define the processes. Start ups can be great but you wear a lot of hats and not everyone knows what to do, especially founders if this is their first run. Be vocal, offer help, take on additional responsibility. Either the process gets better, promotions come, or bounce to an established company with better processes in place.

Making to-do lists daily helps. You can watch progress and accomplishment throughout the day and recap at EOB.

Other than that, calming music and exercise help my day-to-day stress management.

When I'm working out, eating healthy, and not smoking pot, my ability to manage stress improves tenfold.

I should get back to doing those things...😬

That's where I'm at too. Fell back into some of the more unhealthy things and it's crazy how much of a difference it really makes.

A workout or a run helps but for me it’s consistently doing it as part of my routine that helps the most. Or turning the shower ice cold for the last minute and controlling your breathing - it’s magical

I’ve learned to somewhat channel the anxiety. When I’m anxious is when I’m the most frazzled but also the most energetic. I gather myself, make a list of what I need to do, and crank it out. Sticking to the list and staying focused is key. Nothing beats overcoming what’s stressing you out.

Genuine and possibly followable to-do lists + caffeine helps (personal opinion!)
