I was in the Marines for 6 years. 1812 Armor Crewman. I deployed to Morocco (dog & pony training thing) and Afghanistan. Got out at an E5 tank commander.

Out of interest, what got you into sales?
I came from the political world, so I had some transferrable soft skills. I enjoy a highly competitive environment, but professional political work is truly soul-sucking. I had an opportunity to try something new during the "offseason" and ended up staying. In this biz, you can truly get paid for how much you work if you're effective and there aren't massive swings of employment/unemployment.
