what is current observation / trend on job applications to the interviews booked? (Assuming the person asking this question is a seasoned person trying not blindly apply for jobs but trying to make meaningful connections to recruiters , writing tailored applications and navigating networks :))

You shouldn't marry yourself to one specific approach. Job hunting is like building your pipeline.

I've gotten awesome deals that originated through cold calling, some through cold email, some from events, some through LinkedIn, and some inbound.

If I decided I was only going to prospect through one of these channels, I'd miss out on a lot of money.

My current role came via LinkedIn, haven't had a ton of luck on traditional job boards.

I did find a previous role on a ridiculously named, but actually decent, platform called HiredHippo.

Might be Canada-only though.
