Not a marketing guy, but from a sales perspective here's what I have to offer in terms of strategy that would help me:

1. Content. and more content. Content that is vertical and solution specific to each of your ICP's

2. Delivery. Get that content to your prospects on the channels that matter to them. make sure your ad spend is going to the right personas on Social (LinkedIn) and google ads. (Do people really buy/care about software on FB/Insta? no, but might be good for brand recognition)

3. Track it. understand what's working, what is driving people to the website. who is coming to your website

4. Convert it. relevant content (again) on your website lets them know they're in the right place to have their problems solved. Grab their email, phone number, and company info (B2B obviously) through form fills

5. Tell Sales. notify your sales team this activity is happening. Tell them who is on the website, what content grabbed their attention and let sales do their job going after the best companies and people

6. Nurture. Help sales by continuing to bring them back to the website with more content

You'd be shocked about social media's b2b efficiency! YouTube is the number 2 search engine in the world too

Totally agree! From an attribution perspective, I think YouTube spans multiple stages even after top of funnel. But imo, FB and Instagram are really more suited for brand awareness and staying top of mind. Very important obviously, but I think some companies focus too much casting too wide a net on this rather than getting the right content to the right people. And this ends up wasting valuable dollars

There isn't a singular answer to this question. You need to understand who your prospects are, what info they care about, why they care about that info, and what channels they will be on and active in.

There's a marketing firm called Refine Labs that puts out a ton of good content on creating an inbound strategy.
