Any SEO resellers out there? 5 questions for you because I don't know what I'm doing, lol.

Basically I would be setting appointments for a one man ad shop, SEO for optometry. Booking appointments for him to pitch his services.

  1. What kind of comp structure do you typically see?
  2. Where should I look for red flags?
  3. What tools are you using?
  4. What payment service do you use? (How are you paid)
  5. What the actual F*** am I missing?

Thanks,

Aspiring Savage

This scenario seems like a red flag in itself

hmm my guess would be:

1. base pay plus a commission for every appointment you set.
2. you should try to see how many customers this person has, how many happy customers there are, is this person good at their job? what differentiator does he have to make ppl choose him?
3. maybe use the free version of hubspot as a CRM if you need one? and maybe likedin sales nav, but I would make the employer pay for it.
4. well if this is a legit business they should have a payroll system, if not, make sure they pay you via check and you cash it right away.
5. is this a real opportunity or just a random person that you are working for?

Have you been offered anything yet? It sounds like you have nothing but questions and no offer, etc.

It's a give and take, no ? I think you should also give some information, and then ask these questions. A mix bag.
