When ever we get to the winter months, I tend to lose a bit of my motivation. How do you keep or 'up' your motivation throughout winter? Any tricks?๐

Grab a workout buddy. Keep a routine. Take breaks during the day to get as much sunlight as possible.ย

I think there are two parts - mental health and actual job motivation. If Iโm stressed and depressed itโs easy to check out.

- keep the big picture in mind, the little things now will be a big commish check later

I'm Canadian. I was born in the cold, raised by the cold, but will not die in the cold as I intend on retiring to Fiji very shortly.
That said: hot toddies, warm blankets, and dreaming about all the things you get to do with a fat ass bank account. Seriously. This job sucks ass sometimes but the freedom and financial security it can bring if you're willing to work hard is second to none.

When I need to stay motivated I just foist a massive amount of additional pressure on myself. Thatโs why I just hired three more people and made a down payment on an airplane.
Start doing what you like in your free time rather than thinking shit and getting more into it..ย
Motivation is never going to be permanent. It will ebb and flow throughout the year. The best protection is make your sales process as idiot-proof as possible. Automate as much as possible and make sure that even when you hit a bit of a slump you don't have to worry about a drop in cashflow.ย

Just decide to keep doing your job well regardless of motivation that comes and goes and you will be fine.
Look at your best paystub and then look at your worst...ย
