Anyone else here buy most of their work clothes from Kohl's?

Anyone else think Kohl's slaps? Feel like you can get some real affordable gems there to elevate your clothing game for work. Happy to be here as well!

Would love some other suggestions for the wardrobe as well if you got em!

I'm a massive thrift shop guy and swear my favorite clothes are all from goodwill/ salvation army/ random thrift shops I have found in the boonies. That being said, thrift shopping is an art that not everyone has and if you don't have it maybe Kohls is a good option for you

I don't find anything in there for me, so I stay in the kitchen section ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

I'm more a Marshalls guy, my commission has been pretty light so I can't afford things from kohls

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
Given that a US Senator famously buys his clothes at Costco, I feel like that's a solid option as well.

Kohl's?ย  Is this a troll?ย  It is fine I guess if you're looking for rad dockers or Bill Cosby sweaters.ย ย

I used to get a ton of my suits at H&M. They aren't high quality, but fit me great off the rack and looked nice and tailored.ย

I've been considering them for a suit to wear to trade shows that I don't have to care about as much. Is my guess correct that the wear and tear would show after a few months? But that's why their cheap right? haha

Exactly! Spill an entire cocktail on them at a tradeshow happy hour... Dry clean? Nope...just throw it in the trash.

Essentially disposable suits!

Why buy a cheap (and likely uncomfortable) suit? Such an essential part of the wardrobe (like shoes) that I'd rather "invest" in a quality suit that'll last for years.ย

It is definitely a great point, but as Slinginsoftware mentioned, it's a suit that I won't have to care about. I do have a few suits that are good quality but I'm curious to see how H&M's will do. Obviously if I put it on and it looks cheap I'll stick with what I have.
Another though is that it will give cheap variety, so multiple colors and patterns.

Ewwww. Screams tacky and cheap to me. There are two locations which are the equivalent of my own personal hell:

The mall and Times Square. โšฐ๏ธ

I dont want to come off as mean, but Kohl's is overpriced and their clothes are garbage. You can get plenty of fast fashion for much less at places like Uniqlo, H&M, J Crew, etc.ย

If you haven't already, I would check out the /r/malefashionadvice subreddit, as it has tons of recommendations for all styles and budgets.
