Not at all. Get it all out first thing and keep your routine alive on or off the road.
When I first started in outside sales it was a massive problem. 10 years in and it’s like my body has adjusted. I pretty much only poop between 7 and 10 PM now!
Wait until you have a really bad appointment and do it then.
To change the subject, how do you handle this in the middle of zooms? For internal calls I use the wife and kids as an excuse and say "I'll call you back in 5".
For client calls I've definitely been guilty of double muting and doing a quick one on a call. Usually wait until they ask a tough technical question and my SE chimes in. I know once he gets going I have at least 5 minutes.

What about building in meeting buffers before/after your scheduled meetings?
