Anyone else miss tradeshows????

I used to hate working them, but they were always in a decent enough city and fun free meals, and oh yeah socializing. I didnt think i would miss them, but i do. Anyone else?

Also while on the topic, did anyone find them to be valuable for new sales, advancing existing opportunities, or was it just a marketing event and branding?

Tradeshows were good for sales (net new and advancing deals in pipe)

Absolutely. Any opportunity to network in person, either with customers or parters, is missed.

Lol, for sure, answering questions for johnny the maintenance man that is walking the floor for fun on break is great too.

Just anything not my family or on a computer screen. I'll take an air five in person rather than the awkward wave bye on zoom any damn day

Ikr and zoom burnout is real. I literally feel exhausted after just a 30 min call

God I miss them so much. Virtual conferences are absolute dogshit for prospecting. No face-to-face communication, no shaking hands, no business cards... I miss it all so much.

I've never understood people who hate them... they must be really bad at them, I guess? I've always had great luck at trade shows, not in the immediate, but 6 months down the line they really pay off. Plus, scoping out the competition is always fun too!

It's coming. Just have to get to herd immunity. I think 2021 will be better than 2020 and 2022 could be similar to days old. But new company swag to give out will be masks and we will still be in those I'm afraid
