Anyone have experience working at Trip Actions?

RepVue score seems average but the daily KPIs are high while the monthly quota is low.

I haven't heard of em. So you're seeing mixed reviews? What's your gut feeling based on what you know?

They're growing pretty fast their valuation went from 7b earlier this year to know 9.2b.

Require 450 calls a week with only a quota of 7 meetings a months.

My gut feeling is it's just constant high volume with little interest or a good sales process as they mentioned that even AEs are constantly cold calling. but I am low key desperate for a role just because I want to break into the industry

You are right, if they ask you to make 1800 calls and just 7 meetings then it’s less than 0.5% SQL rate. Looks easy, right? Good luck.

Never heard of em. But I have been at boiler room-esque places - avoid at all costs.

Spoke to a recruiter before and know someone there-
I think they’re doing really well as of late with the bump in biz travel. Culture seems solid. Also think it’s a hybrid model

Have you had the opportunity to reach out to any of their reps on LI?

SDR I'm assuming? They took off before but then got fucked by COVID. They are bouncing back now. I'd every day that goes by would be a worse time to join. It shouldn't be a boiler room environment per say. But it can be somewhat of a boys club. It's definitely not the best place to be but far from the worst

I have a friend that works there and really enjoys it. This person was in a boiler room type environment before, and would not have made a move to another situation like that……if that helps at all

Strongly recommend against working there, my friend is a growth CSM manager and works her ass off, has to report to 2 different CROs, and is constantly having to travel to exhausting company-wide events all across the country

I don't know anything about them other than that they had to layoff a TON of their salespeople during the pandemic. Now that travel is picking back up I imagine they are on a hiring spree

I had an interview here a few weeks ago, they are actively recruiting for several sales roles. The unique thing was the commission structure..its all paid in the rears as residual. You have to manage the account and sign new business. IMO it seemed like a sweat shop.

I have been getting recruited by them hardcore. Doesn't seem like that promising of a business IMO, but could be wrong.

My guess is that it is very boiler room like; (think like Samsara, Paycom, and DarkTrace)
