Anyone heard of a Interim executive role, and have they done it?

I was contacted by a recruiter and have 0 executive experience other than talking to them. I'm a bit skeptical, pay is a little under what I would expect but uncapped commission and large bonuses and other great benefits except unlimited pto(scam).
aAnyway, curious if anyone knows more info they can share. I don't know about moving and working for a different company every 6-18 months from what I've read. But it would be great experience.

What is the role about? Do you think you'd love to do it more than your existing job? Will you be happy with the industry they are catering to? What are your objectives?

You have to answer these questions to yourself. Uncapped commission never entices me at all thats what all offer now a days.

I would clean toilets and enjoy it more than my current job lol. Bad boss, poor leadership that doesn’t have a set direction and our processes are too convuluted. I am lucky to be in the top 10% but 70% of our sales don’t hit quota. Very true about commission for the most part, I added it because i assumed someone would ask. Its a full sales cycle and pretty much 70% hunter role which I do enjoy hunting but not that much. It is a confidential position until i speak with the recruiter. So i dont know anymore yet. I plan on speaking with her today. I was hoping someone has experience in the roll and can tell me more.

Never heard of it. It feels high risk, high reward.

Bust your ass, quickly (relatively speaking) develop a network of contacts, could be more lucrative as contract work usually is, but as soon as you get comfortable you'll be pulled to the next role.

This is a personal choice. Do you have a family dependent on your income? Do you have a safety net in case this goes sideways? Whats your personal appetite for stress in am already stressful world?

Great questikns. No direct family dependent on income, although I like to pay for a vacation or two for Mom, sister, and nehpew. Safety net… 3 months pay per usual with commission but thats going towards a house soon along with a few investment accounts outside of 401k. Im not too worried because I can quit and do something else or i would guess some companeis try and offer you the position perm. Not amy more lucrative abiut the same. And stress wise i can handle a lot but rather not if the money isnt worth the additobak stress. My motto is the same as the jokers. If you’re good at something never do it for free.. or at a discount.

Call me what you want, just sign the damn contract
This is a real thing but it's way more common in the CFO/CEO/COO areas than sales. And I don't understand how you'd be able to bank on commissions jumping around that much.

I see what you are saying about the notification not taking you directly to the comment and instead takes you to the post. I mainly use the mobile web and I actually prefer it.
