Anyone here like to dance?

I just got back from salsa dancing and it was so awesome. I can't wait to dance a lot more this summer. Letting loose on the dance floor gets me jacked to sell the next day and project all that good energy on prospects.

Anyone else here avidly go out and dance? What's your experience?

I have two years of salsa and bachata and 6 months of lessons. I'm going to restart lessons soon to further sharpen my craft!

You will not regret it! Stick it through. It took me a while to learn rhythm and feel comfortable dancing. So glad I stuck it through tho because dancing always brings a big smile to my face

My mom started ballroom in her mid/late 50s with zero dance experience and she not only lost 50lbs, but made it to the Canadian team competing internationally at age 60! Second youngest member on the team was 27!ย

Never too late to start! Fantastic way to get fit, healthy and get rid of all that work related stress!ย

I took dance lessons for about a year with my wife. Didn't learn a whole lot besides "I'm not good at dancing"

Haha I'm not sure how often you went to lessons, but for me I went 5 days a week for months. It's hard to improve if you go once a week. I think everyone can learn if I was able to!

I only dance when my wife forces me to at weddings. Itโ€™s one of the only things Iโ€™m bad at and lessons have not helped.ย

How many lessons have you been to? And what was the frequency?

I take lessons with my wife a few times a month. It's turned into a great date night activity, and has the added payoff of us not feeling totally out of our depths when in dancing situations!

Hell yeah. All you have to do is get over feeling awkward, most people are just jealous that you were willing to get out and dance!

Like to dance vs know how to dance is the better question for me ๐Ÿ˜‚

Me and the wife have contemplated taking some lessons though - sounds like itโ€™s worth it.

My mom was a ballroom dance teacher, so I was raised to have hips that donโ€™t lie. It gave me a great โ€œpower stanceโ€, which helped me a ton in my professional life.

I've done it. Its tough. If you have side income or money for 6 months you're good. When I did it they gave me 6k for 3 months to get started. And then I had enough sales by the 3rd month that i was over my 6k. If they don't even offer a few months grace to build a territory... I wouldnt.
