Anyone here take any "master classes"?

I've thought about it but haven't really pulled the trigger. The one that grabbed my attention was the one by Christopher Voss on Negotiating.

Curious how decent the Masterclass experience really is and if it's worth it.

Chris Voss’s master class is almost identical to his book from the snippets I’ve seen.

I definitely recommend either taking it or reading the book if you want to get better at negotiating.

A lot are like that. Oren Klaff, Jim Collins - they all do the same thing. . Authors do a lot for us, but at the end of the day they’re in business to. If they find a product that sells (the idea they wrote about) keep selling until nobody’s buying

Agreed. The Chris Voss Masterclass was awesome. But it is similar to his book for sure.

Thanks for the insight. If that's the case I'll probably just buy his book

I've taken them for non-sales related things and thoroughly enjoyed them.

I'm liking the Chriss Voss class, I'm not a quick reader so I'm using the master class to familiarize myself with the book before reading the book. That way I can absorb it better. Also I like reading with the author's voice in mind. They also offer 30day money back guarantee and if you use an edu email you get 50% off.

I worked with a company 3 years ago that gave me free access to Cardone University. I'd like to check out Jordan Belfort's Straight Line System eventually. If you got the money to blow they can be enjoyable.

I did Straight Line (friend paid for the course and let me use it.) It was cool. Had a lot of interesting information. I wouldn’t pay thousands for it tho.

How was Cardone University? Everything I see with him makes him seem...insufferable (we'll go with that).

They're okay. Expensive for what they are. I've taken them and I dig them okay, but libraries exist so...

There's quite a few that are really good. Haven't done any selling related ones or the negotiating course, but overall I've really enjoyed the platform. One of the better early-covid days purchases I made.
